The episodes usually begin with Sonic introducing the audience to Cream and Mint the Puffle () whose name he often mispronounces to the dissatisfaction of Cream.

- In her earlier episodes (Cream and coffee! & Medicine!), Cream uses a kids' kitchen play set. She later relocates the show to an actual kitchen.
- Cream's food usually makes the person eating it explode, but there are a few instances where it only makes them vomit (Medicine!) or has no effect on them.
